CSIRO sign Letter of Support with Platform10

With grower-led field trials commencing in California, Wharf42 has begun to build the global network necessary to accelerate both a cross-border and a counter seasonal field trial program. This is a significant element of the Platform10 initiative and key to leveraging the vast science and research capability that exists across the world. As we discussed at this year's Salinas Biological Summit in Woodland, no single country or company can solve all the challenges facing growers as they address the increasing demands from regulators and consumers around the use of Ag-Chem inputs.

In Woodland, signing the MOU with BPIA was not the only 'game in town'. In the following session on Day 2 of this year's Summit, I was delighted to share the platform with Dr Andy Sheppard, Chief Research Scientist, CSIRO, who signed a Letter of Support for Platform10/ Wharf42.

This is a significant deal. As Australia's national science agency and innovation catalyst, CSIRO seeks to solve the greatest challenges through innovative science and technology.

Wharf42 has enjoyed a close relationship with Australia for a number of years. As members of the original AgriFutures Australia evokeAG & growAG steering committees, we have watched the country's agritech ecosystem grow exponentially. The Letter of Support with CSIRO strengthens that relationship and provides a further significant opportunity to accelerate trans-Tasman research collaboration in the agrifood space.

For Platform10, it's a significant moment.
